**Transport Supervisor Required** To join a specialist commercial heating, plumbing and drainage distributor out of their site located in Bristol. The client is well respected in their field, offering both materials and distribution services across their multiple UK sites.

In this role you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and supervising the transport office and drivers, reporting directly to the Branch General Manager.

Transport Supervisor – Responsibilities

• Overseeing and supervising the planning department
• Collaborate with the logistics team to plan optimal routes for delivery vehicles, considering factors such as traffic, distance, and time constraints.
• Ensuring that all on-site staff and drivers are following the correct compliance procedures
• Communicating regularly with Drivers when required throughout the shift.
• Working collaboratively with other sites on a regular basis
• Incident management
• Monitoring of driver’s hours and WTD

Transport Supervisor – Requirements

• Previous experience working in a supervisory position in the transport industry
• Class 2 HGV License (Advantageous)
• Drivers CPC (Advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of UK transport and compliance standards
• Proficient in the use of TMS, GPS and MS Office suite, PodFather knowledge is Desirable
