Head of Platforms & Data


We are working with a fast-growing infrastructure and technology business seeking a Head of Platforms & Data to lead the architecture, development and evolution of the systems that support its operational and commercial platforms.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the organisation''s platforms, integrations and data environment are scalable, reliable and capable of supporting continued growth.

The successful candidate will oversee the evolution of the company''s core technology platforms, ensuring seamless integration between operational systems, customer platforms and data environments while driving automation and efficiency across the organisation.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

Owning the architecture and development of core business platforms

Defining and maintaining the integration and API strategy across systems

Leading the development and scaling of the organisation''s data platform

Driving automation across operational workflows and service processes

Establishing platform governance, architecture standards and technology roadmaps

Managing external technology vendors and delivery partners

Leading and developing a multi-disciplinary platforms and data team

Ensuring platforms are modular, scalable and resilient to support business growth

What We''re Looking For

We are looking for a technology leader with strong experience in platform architecture, enterprise systems integration and data environments.

You will likely bring experience in areas such as:

Enterprise platform architecture or systems integration

API strategy and integration frameworks

Data platforms, data architecture or data warehousing

Automation of operational processes and workflows

Leading platform engineering, architecture or technology teams

Working within complex technology environments

Experience within infrastructure-led, operationally complex or technology-driven businesses would be advantageous.
