Accounts Assistant

Job Title: Accounts Assistant Location: Sandwell Department: Finance/Accounts Reports To: Finance Manager / Financial Controller Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant for a long term contract, based in Sandwell. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, including maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing reconciliations, and supporting month-end tasks. Key Responsibilities: o Monitor Accounts email inbox, print and electronic filing of invoices and statements o Purchase Ledger start to finish - 3-way matching o Purchase Ledger Payments - raise online and post to ERP system and allocate to p/invs o Supplier Statements reconciliation o Filing o Assist management accountant with month end accruals o Credit Card statement reconciliation and posting o Expenses processing o Daily Bank report and reconciliation o Assist on sales ledger when required o Assist with credit control when required o Ad hoc reporting and tasks as required Key information o 12 month contract o Office based Mon-Fri o Full Time, Early Finish Friday
