Job Title: Estimator (New Build, Refurbishments and Extensions) Location: Manchester Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team in Manchester. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions across a range of projects, including new builds, refurbishments, housing schemes, schools, and extensions. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender returns using Conquest estimating software (essential). Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to produce accurate pricing. Source and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations. Work closely with project teams, clients, and consultants to ensure clear communication on pricing and scope. Support the handover of successful tenders to the delivery team. Maintain an up-to-date library of rates, costs, and supplier information. Requirements Proven experience as an Estimator in construction, with projects covering new builds, refurbishments, housing, schools, and extensions. Strong, hands-on experience with Conquest estimating software is essential. Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
