Maintenance Assistant

Our client is currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join their busy hospitality team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and practical individual who enjoys a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the property.
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-presented environment for guests and staff.
• Report any maintenance issues that require specialist attention.

What We''re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, or handyman role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, painting, or carpentry is advantageous.
• A proactive approach with good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards.

Working Pattern:

• Rota-based shifts, including the possibility of weekend work, depending on business requirements.
• Flexibility is essential as shifts and hours will vary according to the needs of the business.

Pay Rate:

• Competitive hourly rate (to be confirmed).
