You will be part of the Oceanbeat Inter Array Cable (IAC) package team. You shall:Provide cable engineering support to the Cable Work Package Manager, assisting in the development and execution of the IAC package.Have detailed understanding of cable design and electrical engineering, with a keen awareness of the Transport and Installation (TandI) of the IAC.Review and approve cable engineering documentation from suppliers, ensuring technical deliverables meet project and contract requirements.Identify and mitigate risks on the package, raising relevant risks to the package manager, reviewing project risks, and supporting risk mitigation actions.Manage technical interfaces between packages and suppliers, proactively managing interfaces related to cables, and supporting interface meetings.Identify and raise Value Opportunities, review and implement value enhancement actions.Develop and execute third-party engineering work scopes, including writing, tendering, and executing related scopes.Follow the management of change process, identifying potential changes and rigorously managing them.Collaborate with safety, consent, and procurement teams to ensure robust execution of works.Coordinate with foundation, WTG, grid/transmission engineering, ground engineering/site investigation, and construction disciplines for safe delivery.Ensure safe, cost-efficient design and integrity management throughout asset life, in accordance with bp and industry standards.Maintain relationships with third-party suppliers, contractors, and partners.Contribute to technology development, sharing knowledge and findings.Qualifications Mandatory

Engineering Degree in relevant discipline (civil, mechanical, structural, or electrical engineering).Membership of relevant industry panels or standards organizations (e.g., Chartered Engineer, PMP, APM).8+ years of technical experience in electrical and/or cable engineering.5+ years of experience in offshore project development.Deep understanding of electrical and mechanical cable design.Deep understanding of cable routing processes and ability to assess array cable electrical layouts to minimize cost and risk.Key Skills

Excellent knowledge of industry codes and standards.Based in Hamburg / Germany.Project management expertise.Proficiency in German language.Excellent English language skills (written and verbal), with strong interpersonal skills.Experience working remotely.Effective time management, especially with distributed teams and multiple time zones.Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members.Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams on major projects with minimal supervision.Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, comfortable reporting to senior management.Ability to take responsibility for assigned scope and drive it to completion.Willingness to learn aspects like Contract Law and Electrical Safety Rules.Innovative mindset with the ability to challenge conventional thinking.#J-18808-Ljbffr
