An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join a growing specialist coffee business based in Acton. This is a hands-on role offering a varied workload within a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the day-to-day running of the warehouse
  
  
• Receiving, organising and storing stock efficiently
  
  
• Picking, packing and dispatching orders
  
  
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift for loading and unloading deliveries
  
  
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
  
  
• Preparing coffee samples and assisting with packing duties
  
  
• Supporting order fulfilment and basic customer service enquiries
  
  
• Assisting with warehouse housekeeping and maintaining a safe working environment
  
  
• Providing general support to the wider sales and logistics team
  
  

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
  
  
• Previous warehouse experience
  
  
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  
  
• Basic IT skills, including email and spreadsheets
  
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
  
• Reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work
  
  
• Ability to work in a physical role involving manual handling
  
  

Desirable Skills

• Experience in packing and dispatch operations
  
  
• Customer service experience
  
  
• Interest in coffee, food production or hospitality
  
  
• Experience with stock control and inventory management
