The Role First Base Employment is currently recruiting for a CNC Mill/Turn Programmer / Setter / Operator to join a precision engineering environment based in Poole. This is an excellent opportunity for a fully skilled CNC Machinist with experience programming, setting and operating CNC mill/turn machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing complex precision components, working with FANUC controls and ensuring all work is completed to demanding engineering specifications. Key Responsibilities of a CNC Mill/Turn Programmer / Setter / Operator: Programming, setting and operating CNC mill/turn lathe machines. Using FANUC-controlled machinery to manufacture precision components. Producing and editing CNC programmes both online and offline. Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications. Carrying out in-process inspections to ensure components meet required tolerances. Maintaining high standards of quality and production efficiency. Keeping the working area clean and organised in line with 5S/5C principles. Key Skills of a CNC Mill/Turn Programmer / Setter / Operator: Fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn machining experience.
