They''re now looking for an experienced and highly organised People Advisor who’s passionate about delivering a brilliant service in a fast-paced media agency environment.This role provides hands-on people support across the full employee lifecycle and across all business units. You’ll work closely with the operational side of the People team to deliver efficient, effective business partnering while helping to enhance the overall employee experience.The People team focuses on creating an environment where everyone can thrive through fresh thinking and solutions-focused approaches.Responsibilities

Employee relations (ER): Provide clear advice, coaching, and training to managers and employees across policies including maternity, absence, flexible working, parental leave, performance management, discipline, and grievance processes.Manage ER cases such as grievances, disciplinaries, absence management, and wellbeing; escalate more complex matters to the Business Partner when needed.Regularly review and develop people policies and procedures; recommend updates to stay aligned with employment law and best practice.Support the Business Partners with key annual processes, including performance and talent management activities.Ensure first-day right-to-work checks are completed accurately and on time to maintain legal compliance.Deliver new joiner inductions to help new employees settle in from day one.Create quarterly insight reports from onboarding and offboarding feedback to inform business decisions.Contribute to People Team projects that boost employee engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion.Learning and Development (LandD): Coordinate internal and external training programmes, ensuring timely delivery.Maintain learning trackers and reporting on training activity.Deliver and develop internal training sessions that meet business needs and support employee growth.Other: Participate in agency and network-wide initiatives; co-lead and deliver presentations with senior HR team members; provide ad-hoc support to the wider People Team as required.Qualities, Skills, and Behaviours

A fresh perspective with a drive to continually improve; lead with care, respect, and openness.Solution-focused, service-minded approach; work in a timely and efficient way.Solid experience in generalist HR, ideally in a fast-paced environment.Strong knowledge of best practice HR processes, procedures, and UK employment law.Collaborative mindset; comfortable using an HRIS and working with the wider People team.Approachable and engaging style; confident building relationships at all levels.Great communication skills with the ability to present updates to the People team and wider business.Seniority level
