Our client, a very reputable firm are looking to appoint a Litigation Paralegal for their growing business based in Chester. You will gain exposure to high quality litigation & dispute resolution work, supporting fee earners across a range of complex and engaging matters.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

• A minimum of 12 months’ experience in Dispute Resolution
• Experience & Knowledge of Litigation
• Experience working as a Paralegal within the legal sector
• Knowledge of MS Office & Internal Systems
• Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal
• Strong organisational skills
• High attention to detail

Within this position, you’ll also be:

• Supporting fee earners with supervised fee earning tasks
• Preparing court documents and bundles
• Handling of new client enquiries
• Attending meetings, mediations & court hearings to take detailed notes & upload these to internal system
• Acting as a point of contact in absence of fee earners, managing calls & escalating any urgent matters
• Providing routine client updates & drafting follow up correspondence
• Sending standard & non standard letters, managing enclosures & ensuring all outgoing correspondence meets standards

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Working Hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with 1 hours’ lunch
