Step Forward is seeking a Senior Counsellor and Wellbeing Worker to provide high quality therapeutic support to young people and clinical supervision to honorary counsellors. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people aged 11-25 years and combine direct therapeutic work with leadership responsibilities. You will be a passionate and skilled individual that will help us to shape services that reach young people facing complex challenges in East London. Key Responsibilities Provide high quality and confidential 1:1 counselling and wellbeing support in a range of settings. Deliver clinical supervision to Step Forward honorary counsellors/therapists. Facilitate small group sessions and wellbeing workshops. Support engagement with young people who are less likely to access traditional mental health services. Lead and/or contribute to service improvement initiatives. Monitor and evidence the impact of therapeutic interventions.. Build and sustain partnerships with external agencies (e.g. CAMHS, schools) About You A recognised qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy (accredited or working towards).
