This is a great opportunity to join a large international manufacturing business as Payroll Manager, leading a small team and owning UK payroll for around 1,100 employees. Permanent role, with temp-to-perm also considered.Reporting to the Shared Services Director, you''ll be the UK payroll subject matter expert, working closely with HR, Finance, IT and site leadership to ensure accurate, compliant and efficient payroll delivery.Key responsibilitiesLead, support and develop a small in-house payroll teamOversee accurate, timely and compliant UK payroll deliveryManage payroll accounting, reconciliations, reporting, audit and controlsPartner with HR, Finance, IT and site leadership as the UK payroll specialistSupport systems, automation, process improvement and governance initiativesAbout youStrong UK payroll experience in a medium-to-large or shared services environmentGood knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, controls and reconciliationsExperience managing, supervising or leading a payroll teamStrong analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skillsSAP, Workday, Cintra, ServiceNow or multi-site/manufacturing experience would be advantageous.Additional InformationOffice based 5 days a week (no hybrid but flexibility on start/finish times)£65,000 + 15% discretionary bonusPension up to 9% employer contributionLife AssurancePrivate medical insuranceOccupational health servicesOnsite services - gym ..... full job details .....
