Job Role - Mechanical EngineerContract Type - Temporary Ongoing Pay Rate - £25.00 per hourWorking Hours - 36.5 hours per week, compressed hours, 4 days out of 5 (Monday Friday)ResponsibilitiesTo perform high-quality vehicle maintenance in line with industry standardsTo use relevant diagnostic equipment to diagnose and rectify faults on a wide range of vehicle typesTo have the ability to use oxygen acetylene equipment for cutting and welding, and to demonstrate the ability to carry out MIG weldingTo be responsible for the possession and maintenance of various multifaceted tools, plant and equipment including electronic equipment e.g. tachographs, GPS systems, computer diagnostic equipment etcExperience RequiredExtensive experience of vehicle maintenance functions A detailed knowledge of fleet maintenance policies and legislation impacting upon the serviceCPC or equivalent professional qualificationCity in Guilds, B. Tech NVQ over Level 3 in a relevant subject
