Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major highways infrastructure project in Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a 12-month contract with highly competitive rates, operating outside of IR35. Key Responsibilities: Setting out and surveying on a large-scale highways project Ensuring accurate technical delivery of works in line with project drawings and specifications Liaising with subcontractors, site supervisors, and project management teams Maintaining QA documentation and as-built records Ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or heavy civils projects Proficient with surveying equipment (e.g., Leica, Trimble) Strong understanding of civil engineering specifications and site procedures CSCS card (essential) SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid (preferred but not essential) What s on Offer: Long-term 12-month contract Excellent day rates (£350 £420) Outside IR35 engagement Immediate start with a well-regarded contractor How to Apply: If you''re an experienced Site Engineer looking for your next highways contract, please apply today with your up-to-date CV, or get in touch for more information.
