Interim Health and Safety Advisor (12 Month FTC)

We''re supporting a well-established organisation to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to help strengthen site-based assurance and embed a positive safety culture across operations. This is a practical, stakeholder-facing position, suited to someone who can build relationships, influence standards, and support continuous improvement.

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will:

• Provide day-to-day health and safety support across operational activities, working closely with managers and front-line teams
• Lead and participate in workplace inspections, audits, risk assessments and safe system of work reviews
• Support incident reporting and investigations, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented
• Deliver coaching and engagement to promote safe behaviours and compliance with procedures

The successful candidate will have:

• A recognised health and safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent) and strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
• Experience supporting operational teams within a site-based or field-based environment
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
