Oversees Senior Practitioners, Social Workers, NQSWs, Trainee Social Workers and Family Support Workers, ensuring high-quality practice, statutory compliance and positive outcomes for children.Key responsibilities include:Managing and leading a team holding caseloads of children in care.Providing management oversight and decision-making on complex cases involving children and young people.Driving permanence planning to ensure timely and appropriate long-term outcomes.Managing caseload allocation, performance, quality assurance and compliance with statutory timescales.Monitoring progress against care plans to ensure positive outcomes for children and young people.Providing supervision, reflective practice, guidance and support to staff, including facilitating group supervision sessions.Leading team meetings and promoting effective communication, collaboration and consistency of practice.
