We are seeking an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician to join our established independent automotive service centre in Newport, specialising in premium vehicles. This Vehicle Technician role offers a salary of £45,000–£50,000 basic, depending on experience, plus an efficiency bonus of up to £1,000 per month.

Duties:

• Work as a Vehicle Technician within a close-knit team of five, reporting to the General Manager
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of premium vehicles
• Complete fault diagnosis and vehicle diagnostic work efficiently and accurately
• Carry out cambelt and timing chain replacements
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
• Support the team in achieving operational targets

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Confident completing diagnostic work and cambelt or timing chain replacements
• Formal automotive qualifications are desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving licence with minimal penalty points
• Reliable, committed and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
• Motivation to contribute to the continued success of the business
