Keoghs Scotland are seeking to recruit a NQ-2 years PQE Solicitor to join our expanding Glasgow team. You will handle your own caseload of litigated Motor Injury, Fraud and Credit Hire cases and assist the Partner in the day to day running of the team and higher value cases. There will be a requirement to undertake court appearance work and supervision of a growing team.Key ResponsibilitiesForensic review and analysis of relevant documentsAnalysis of liabilityAnalysis of quantum and causationAssisting in drafting adviceClient liaisonCourt appearance and attendance with counselDrafting documents and correspondence to clients/court/witnessesPreparing witness statements and instructions to expertsAssisting Partners and other members of the team where requiredAssisting in business development initiatives, including drafting of articles, blog pieces, e-shots and presentations and attendance at relevant eventsWorking hours: 35 hours per week Monday - Friday 9am - 5.00pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch One day a week in the Glasgow office Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseLitigation experience, applications of newly qualified Solicitors are welcomeExcellent communication skillsExcellent forensic skillsAbility to prioritise tasks and to work under pressurePrevious experience of time recording is preferableThe ability to work as part of a team and independently Job BenefitsDavies Incentive Plan25 days holiday per year which increases with level of service (opportunity to buy and sell 3 days
