This is a great opportunity for a mechanically strong engineer looking for a Monday-Friday, days-only position, working 7:00am-3:30pm, within a stable manufacturing environment. You''ll be responsible for keeping production machinery and equipment running reliably, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and supporting ongoing improvements across the site. Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Engineer Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults Fault-finding on electrical systems and components Working with motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors and pneumatic systems Carrying out preventative maintenance to reduce machinery downtime Responding to breakdowns and identifying root causes Supporting machinery upgrades and continuous improvement projects Carrying out fabrication, welding and general workshop maintenance where required Working closely with production teams to resolve machinery issues Helping improve the reliability and efficiency of site equipment Essential Skills and Experience Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical maintenance background Experience fault-finding on production machinery Good ..... full job details .....
