Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire

Salary/Benefits: -26k - -36k + Training & Benefits

Due to recent expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to service newly acquired contracts in the South East and Home Counties regions. You will be completing pre-planned maintenance duties, including: TMV servicing, tank cleans and showerhead descales. The role is covering a range of local authority, commercial and public sector premises. Our client is a growing outfit, who provide a diverse range of services, including: plumbing and risk assessing, so there are great opportunities for training. Salaries on offer are attractive, and benefits include: company vehicle and fuel card.

You will be travelling across: Luton, Leighton Buzzard, Aylesbury, St Albans, Hitchin, Stevenage, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Biggleswade, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Buckingma, St Neots, Bicester, Stoke Mandeville, Northampton, Rushden, Huntingdon, High Wycombe, Watford, Beaconsfield, Oxford, Potters Bar, Cheshunt, Daventry.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Good track record working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Strong understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Experience working across a diverse portfolio of client sites
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Confident using IT software
• Team-player

The Role:

• Showerhead disinfections
• TMV servicing, maintenance and failsafe checks
• CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections
• Calorifier inspections
• Basic flushing on little used outlets
• Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers
• Water sampling
• Temperature monitoring
• Updating logbooks
