Role: Finance OfficerDuration: Temp ongoingRate: £17 £23 phr (depending on pay status)Based: NottinghamHours: 37 hoursWe are recruiting for an experienced and proactive Finance Officer on behalf of a well-known domestic abuse charity, on a temporary basis. Working closely with the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial processing of all accounting transactions and supporting the effective financial management of the organisation.Synopsis of duties:Assist in the financial management of all accounting transactions, including annual preparation of accounts and monthly and quarterly management accountsSupport the management of supplier contracts and, alongside Heads of Service, contracts for service delivery.Maintain and develop financial systems in collaboration with the Finance Team.Provide financial data and support to Senior Managers and Team Leaders relating to operational performance, service delivery and fundraising activities, ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations.Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for all organisational funds, including monitoring incoming and outgoing resources and cashflow.Support the accurate monthly allocation of wage costs and other costs, including pensions.Understand budgets and assist with budget preparation and amendments where required.Assist with basic financial transactions, including petty cash, purchase orders, invoices and income-related finance queries.Support colleagues in Bus
