Live blogs are an integral staple of the Guardian''s output; you could be asked to blog on different subjects from politics to pandemics to extreme weather events to the ongoing war in Ukraine. You''ll build rapport with an engaged online audience, making sure Guardian live blogs are fast and trustworthy, pulling together your own original reporting and analysis, contributions from Guardian colleagues, and updates from wires and other news services. This is a 9-month fixed-term contract or staff secondment, 4 days per week, Wednesday - Saturday.
