Key Duties:Processing client and office receipts and payments on a daily basisPreparing cheques, BACS and CHAPS payments for authorisationControlling all bank transactionsDaily bank account reconciliationsDealing with nominal and purchase ledger receipts and payments, petty cash, expenses and Counsel''s feesPreparing bills, ensuring correct disbursements, expenses and VAT is chargedLiaising with directors, fee earners, clients and the bank to resolve queriesTo be considered for this fantastic opportunity, the successful candidate must have proven experience of working for a professional Law Firm in a Legal Cashiering position for at least 18 months. You will be reporting to the Senior Legal Cashier and Chief Financial Officer. It is essential that you have strong attention to detail and accuracy, along with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong IT skills are imperative, including the use of Microsoft packages.
