Prospectus is working with our client to recruit an Assistant Head of Community and Membership Fundraising - Community and Events. The organisation has a trusted presence in communities across the country, offering practical and emotional support to some of the most vulnerable people in society. A newly created position, the Assistant Head of Community and Membership Fundraising - Community and Events is a critical hire that will ensure the organisation maintains and increases its impactful presence across the UK, driving the strategic development and delivery of a national community fundraising programme. This will include fundraising appeals that grow income from individuals and organisations and you will be responsible for expanding and innovating the community events portfolio, ensuring a diversified supporter base and deeper, long-term engagement with supporters. The Assistant Head will manage a team of three, will be responsible for an annual income target of £500k, and work as a senior fundraiser for the organisation externally and internally. To succeed, you will bring proven experience in community and events fundraising, ideally within a large and complex organisation and will have an outstanding track record in community-based fundraising.
