IT Infrastructure and Operations ConsultantRate: 400 - 450 a day outside of IR35Contract Length: 6 months initially - potential to extendLocation: RemoteA growing, cybersecurity organisation iis seeking an experienced contractor to provide third-line support and lead a comprehensive Technology audit during a period of transition and change.This role is a hands-on role focusing on the Microsoft ecosystem, with a strong emphasis across security, compliance and platform optimisation. You''ll play a key role in improving, assessing the IT environment whilst being hands on with project work across their IT estate.Key responsibilities:Providing third-line support for escalated technical issues (especially Intune and M365)Work on several ongoing projects, such as ISO 27001 implementation and optimising Microsoft licensingWork with the Head of IT to conduct an audit of the Technology estateIdentify skill gaps, for future team design whilst helping document systems and processesEnable new AI rollout by assisting with Copilot across the businessExperience Required:Previous experience working in a Microsoft 365 environment- Intune, Entra ID, O365, D365Working with cloud native apps, e.g. Function Apps, Logic Aps, Power Automate, External Entra IDExperience working in smaller or lean IT environments with the ability toIdentify gapsRecommend ImprovementsContribute to future team and Technology StrategyProactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take ownership
