Overview

In this leadership role, you will:Support the Service Lead in the strategic and operational delivery of the new Talking Therapies serviceProvide clinical supervision and line management to a team of PCE-CfD and other modality-trained therapistsMaintain a small clinical caseload to support high-quality, client-centred careWork closely with local partners, commissioners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and service accessibilityPromote a culture of reflective practice, staff wellbeing, and continuous improvement, and work in a supportive environment that values collaboration, wellbeing, and professional growthAccess to ongoing CPD, reflective practice sessions, and leadership development opportunitiesMake a real impact on the mental health and wellbeing of people across Hertfordshire

Qualifications and experience

A PCE-CfD qualification (Postgraduate training in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression)Accreditation with BACP or another relevant professional bodyExperience working within NHS Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT) or similar mental health servicesStrong leadership or supervisory experience (or a desire to develop these skills further)A passion for evidence-based practice, staff development, and service innovation
