Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) We are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support across KS1 and KS2 within a primary school setting. This role involves taking on additional responsibility, including leading lessons and supporting teaching and learning across the school. Role responsibilities include:Supporting teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2Leading whole-class lessons in the absence of the teacherDelivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring continuity of learningWorking with small groups to provide targeted supportSupporting lesson planning and classroom organisationAssisting with assessment and monitoring pupil progressMaintaining a positive and structured learning environmentThe ideal candidate will have:HLTA statusPrevious experience working across KS1 and KS2Confidence in leading a class independentlyStrong classroom management skillsGood communication and teamwork skillsA proactive, flexible, and reliable approachAn Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain onePlease apply or get in touch for more information.
