Senior Project Manager (Heavy Civils), High Speed 2 This is one of the largest and most complex civil engineering programmes in Europe. Ground has been broken, structures are rising, and parts of the heavy Civils project is moving into its later stages. The work now is about driving it home. Our client is recruiting two Senior Project Managers to sit alongside Project Directors as the programme moves through final delivery, close-out and handover. Your job is to keep major civil engineering contracts on track across the final stretch, manage the interfaces, hold the supply chain to account, and make sure the scheme lands cleanly, ready for the Rail Systems to start ramping up in the region.What the role involves You will carry out the duties of NEC3 Project Manager on behalf of the client, administering contracts through Tier 1 and joint venture supply chain partners. Day to day, you will review and accept construction programmes, monitor contractor performance, manage risk within your scope and support mitigation of wider programme-level risks. You will manage CDM duties as delegated by the Client Representative, coordinate retained third-party works and services, and act as the interface with client functions sitting outside the Integrated Project Team.
