Returns Operative - Luton Working Hours and Shifts Shift length: 8 hours + 30-minute unpaid breakShift patterns: 9:00am 5:30pm12:00pm 8:30pm Days: Monday to SundayDays off: 2 days off per week (consecutive or split) Pay and Benefits Pay rate: £13.50 per hour Key Responsibilities Receive and pull returned cages and move them to the designated returns area for sorting and processingSort returned products accurately and identify any discrepancies, damages, or delivery exceptionsInput all relevant return information into the system accurately and in a timely mannerEnsure all returns are processed in full compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standardsProactively reach out to customers via email to inform them of delivery exceptions, delays, or return-related updatesMonitor the warehouse for returned packages that may have been left in unassigned or incorrect areas and ensure they are redirected appropriatelyTake full accountability for the returns process, ensuring all returned items are properly tracked, recorded, and accounted forInvestigate and resolve missing, misrouted, or unaccounted-for returned itemsMaintain a clean, organised, and efficient returns area at all timesWork closely with warehouse, customer support, and inventory teams to ensure smooth returns operations Key Skills and Attributes Strong attention to detail and accuracyGood organisational and time-management skillsConfident using warehouse systems and data entry toolsClear written comm
