HGV Class 1 Driver - Raunds, Northamptonshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Raunds, Northamptonshire. Shifts • Days - Monday - Friday- Start times between 04:00-07:00 or 12:00-16:00• Nights - Monday - Friday- Start times between 17:00-21:00 Rates of Pay Days • £16.75 per hour (basic)• £22.28 per hour (overtime after 9 hours) Nights • £17.75 per hour (basic)• £23.61 per hour (overtime after 9 hours) Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates• Ongoing work• Weekly pay• On-site canteen• Training provided• Genuine temp-to-perm opportunities• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Depot-to-depot trunking routes and trailer swaps• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections• Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly• Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules Essential Skills As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: • Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence• Minimum of 2 years'' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card• Good spoken and written English Desirable Experience
