Rate: Inside IR35 (Umbrella)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to manage suppliers, drive sourcing activities, and support procurement operations within a manufacturing and engineering environment. This role requires a highly analytical individual who can work independently, solve problems, and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships, sourcing activities, and commercial negotiations
• Ensure Purchase Orders (POs) are issued accurately and on time
• Resolve supplier, invoice, and payment issues
• Support supplier performance, evaluation, and development activities
• Produce procurement analysis, reports, and KPI tracking
• Drive process improvements and ensure procurement compliance
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to support business requirements

Essential Experience

• 5+ years'' experience in Direct Procurement
• Strong SAP procurement experience
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence handling large volumes of data
• Experience using Power BI for reporting and analysis
• Supplier management and negotiation experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Desirable Experience

• Aerospace, defence, energy, or industrial manufacturing background
• Lean / Continuous Improvement experience
• Knowledge of castings, forgings, machined or engineered components
