Production Operative / Manufacturing Operative

Salary: -27,000 - -30,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

We are excited to be working with a well-established, family-owned manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Production Operative / Manufacturing Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You will be trained to operate specialist equipment including a flexographic label printing press, adhesive coating machines, and slitting/spooling equipment, all while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Setting up and running production jobs accurately and efficiently

• Operating machinery including presses, slitters, and spooling equipment

• Ensuring Health & Safety and quality standards are consistently met

• Monitoring and maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues where needed

• Safely handling adhesives, inks, and chemicals

• Recording production data accurately in the company system

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet team and production targets

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail, who takes pride in their work. Full training will be provided, but previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable.

• Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines

• Basic IT/computer skills

Desirable experience:

• Experience with printing, coating, or slitting machinery

• Previous work in fast-paced manufacturing environments
