This is a hands-on management role, requiring regular travel between sites and strong experience managing operatives, supervisors, and waste operations teams. The role will be primarily field based, with travel required across Whetstone RHWS and WTS, Mountsorrel RHWS, and County Hall. There may be some flexibility for occasional home working.The main duties of the Waste Operations Manager include: Managing and supporting operatives, supervisors, operations officers, and wider waste teams across Council waste sites. Coordinating recruitment, inductions, training, and development programmes to ensure teams have the skills required to deliver operational objectives.
