Site Engineer

• Annual Salary: -40,000 - -45,000 plus -4,000 Car Allowance

Join an award-winning, family-owned construction business based in Manchester, dedicated to improving lives through our projects. We are looking for a Site Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and making a positive impact on the communities we serve.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide accurate setting out and engineering support throughout the project delivery.
• Monitor progress, resources, materials, and site conditions, maintaining clear project records.
• Support commercial activities through measurement, valuations, and reporting.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, designers, and subcontractors to ensure effective project coordination.
• Contribute to programme planning, project reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Support the development of trainees and continuously enhance your own technical knowledge and skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A relevant construction or engineering qualification (NVQ Level 4 or equivalent).
• Site engineering experience within construction, civils, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical, setting-out, and problem-solving skills.
• Great attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Confidence communicating with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to working safely and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of multiple civils trades and techniques.
• Experience working directly with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Understanding of modern civils methods and technologies.
