Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a part-time opportunity? We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join a busy finance team in Dartford on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is a fully office-based role supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function.

Role: Accounts Assistant - XERO Experience Required
Location: Dartford (on-site parking)
Hours: Part-Time Monday to Friday 9:00am - 2:00pm / 9:30am - 2:30pm 10:00am / 3:00pm
Start: Monday 19th October
Term: Temp to perm
Pay: -15.00 - -16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and process Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger transactions
• Raise customer invoices and ensure they are issued accurately and on time
• Manage credit control, including chasing overdue payments and resolving payment queries
• Perform regular bank reconciliations
• Process receipts, expenses, and supplier invoices
• Use Xero and Eworks to maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with month-end procedures and reporting
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative duties
• Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping systems

About You:

• Previous experience using Xero Accounting Software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Confident communication skills and a professional approach
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to manage confidential information appropriately
