Quality Inspector We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and qualified ''In-process'' inspector to take control of all aspects of quality control from material supply, through policing in-process inspection, to final delivery along with a disciplined and ''hands on'' approach to dimensional inspection. The role will involve customer and supplier liaison, management of NCR''s and development of corrective/preventative actions in line with ISO 9001 standards and further development/improvement of the system. The key responsibilities include: Inspecting, confirming and authorising in-coming materials and returns from outsources. Approving In-Process production and validating ''First-Off'' measurements Upkeep, Maintenance and calibration of Metrology gauges and equipment to ISO 9001 Documenting all inspection results on company''s internal systems Raising and investigating NCR''s with implementation of corrective/preventive measures Presentation of KPI statistics for monthly review Liaison with customers and suppliers including conducting audits where required. Maintenance of ISO 9001 accreditation as it relates to the Production Key skills and experience: Ideally you will have a mechanical engineering background, working within manufacturing environment. You will be able to interpret engineering drawings and support production improvement initiatives.
