Warehouse Operative - Food Production and DispatchWe are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a busy food production and distribution facility in the Darlington area.This role involves preparing meat products for dispatch to local butchers and customers, handling stock, packing orders, and supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation. This is a physically demanding role and would suit candidates who are reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working within a chilled environment.Duties Include:Picking and packing meat products ready for deliveryPreparing customer orders accurately and efficientlyLoading and unloading deliveriesLabelling, weighing, and packaging productsMaintaining high standards of hygiene and food safetyFollowing all health and safety proceduresKeeping work areas clean and tidySupporting the wider warehouse and production team as requiredShift Details:5:00am - 2:00pmMonday to FridayOngoing work availableAdditional shifts may be available during busy periodsFlexibility is preferredPay Rate: 12.71 per hourWeekly pay every FridayRequirements:Previous warehouse, production, or food handling experience is desirable but not essentialComfortable working in a chilled environmentGood level of fitness and ability to undertake manual handling dutiesReliable with a strong work ethicSafety boots are requiredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood attention to detail and accuracy when preparing ordersBenefits:Weekly payOngoing opportunities ..... full job details .....
