HeadteacherL21 (£85,396) - L35 (£117,534) Required for September 2025 or January 2026The Governors of St Ignatius College are seeking to appoint for September 2025 or January 2026 a headteacher to succeed Mrs Mary O''Keeffe who is retiring after nine very successful years in post.The College is a voluntary aided comprehensive secondary school for boys aged 11 to 18 with a mixed Sixth Form located in the London Borough of Enfield with 1,000 students on roll.The College is in the trusteeship of the Society of Jesus, the "Jesuits", and aims to realise to the full the academic potential of all students and to help them become "men and women of faith who are men and women for others" who will go into the world and make it a better place.St Ignatius College is a high achieving school. In 2024, the progress score at GCSE was 0.85, putting it in the top 2.5% of schools nationally and 80% of Sixth Form leavers were admitted to their first-choice universities. Governors are proud of the outcome of the February 2025 OFSTED inspection, the report of which will be published later in March 2025 and will be available on the school website.
