Supply Desk is working with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Milton Keynes to appoint a dedicated Year 3 Teacher starting in January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established team mid-year and guide pupils through their first year in Key Stage 2, helping them develop essential skills, confidence, and independence as they progress through the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons tailored to Key Stage 2 (with a focus on Year 3).

  Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported and motivated.

  Plan and differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners.

  
  



• 
  

  Track and assess pupil progress, using this to inform teaching and provide timely feedback.

  Support pupils in building strong foundations in core subjects as they transition into KS2.

  
  



• 
  

  Work collaboratively with colleagues on planning, assessment and curriculum development.

  
  



• 
  

  Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support each child''s development and well-being.

  
  



• 
  

  Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school''s values and ethos.

  
  

About You:

• 
  

  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  
  



• 
  

  Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with Lower Key Stage 2 experience.

  
  



• 
  

  Confident in teaching the national curriculum and adapting it to suit varied learning needs.

  
  



• 
  

  A flexible and proactive approach to teaching and learning.

  
  



• 
  

  Strong behaviour management and organisational skills.
