Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / SEN Teaching Assistant - Heybridge We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / SEN Teaching Assistant to join supportive schools in Heybridge We welcome applicants with experience in Primary or Secondary education, as well as candidates with transferable skills and a passion for supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SENSupport pupils with needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning needsWork closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement support plansCreate a positive and inclusive learning environmentSupport behaviour management and student wellbeingEncourage confidence, independence, and progressWe are looking for someone who:Has experience supporting children or young people in Primary or Secondary settingsHas SEN experience or a strong interest in supporting additional needsIs patient, resilient, caring, and adaptableDesirable experience:LSA, Teaching Assistant, SEN support, mentoring, youth work, coaching, or care experienceUnderstanding of EHCPs and SEN strategiesExperience supporting ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or behavioural needsSafeguarding or SEN-related trainingWhat we offer:Supportive school environmentsOpportunities across Primary and Secondary settingsOngoing training and development
