Role - Payroll AdministratorLocation - Edinburgh City Centre (hybrid working - office days are Tuesday and Wednesday)Hours of Work - Monday - Friday, 36 hours per weekRate of Pay - £16.07Duration - 6 months with possible extensionStart Date - As soon as possiblePertemps are recruiting for our public sector client for Payroll Administrators to support their established team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for:Processing payroll on a monthly basisLiaising with colleagues in HR regarding starters and leaversHandling deductions (including tax, NI and salary sacrifice)Carrying out pension calculations and ensuring these are administered correctlyProcessing statutory paymentsMaintaining payroll records and updating as requiredPreparing reportsInvestigating and responding to queries raisedCarrying out reconciliationsAny other tasks as required You should have a proven track record in a payroll, finance or pensions role. You must have strong organisational skills and high attention to detail. The payroll system used is Oracle Fusion. Experience of this would be advantageous but is not necessary.
