TeacherActive are proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in East Birmingham, which is looking for a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting the class teacher, supporting learning activities, and helping children reach their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working as a KS2 Teaching Assistant in a Primary School.

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff and pupils.

• First Aid training (desirable but not essential – training can be provided).

Requirements:

• Must hold, or be willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS (Criminal Conviction Check).

• Able to provide two references from UK-based employers.
