We ae looking for a Business Chemist who is an expert in the development, application and interpretation of analytical chemistry to support our sodium bicarbonate and sodium chloride operations in Northwich, Cheshire. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong scientific background and proven experience leading laboratory teams within a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in managing laboratory operations, interpreting analytical results, and collaborating across departments to support business objectives and ensure high standards of quality and compliance Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and develop a laboratory team, ensuring effective day?to?day operations across 2 sites Leadership of specific investigative tasks that support process efficiency, quality improvement and customer satisfaction Carry out analytical testing as required to ensure the laboratory team can meet the business needs Instigate, lead and interpret the outcome of technically complex project work, supporting the business development programme.
