Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support major water and wastewater infrastructure programmes across the UK. This contract role will focus primarily on non-infrastructure wastewater projects, with additional involvement in clean water and infrastructure schemes. The position is based in Manchester, with remote working considered for exceptional applicants, and is available for an immediate start.Key Responsibilities:Providing senior civil engineering expertise across water and wastewater projectsSupporting the design and delivery of sewage treatment works upgrades, storage tanks and combined sewer overflow improvementsContributing to new treatment works, service reservoir and clean water infrastructure projectsDeveloping engineering solutions for wastewater, water quality and infrastructure requirementsPreparing and reviewing technical designs, specifications, calculations and engineering reportsWorking with multidisciplinary teams, water companies, contractors and project stakeholdersProviding engineering support throughout project development, design and deliveryEnsuring that designs and technical outputs comply with relevant standards, regulations and project requirementsKey Projects:United Utilities Better Rivers programme, including combined sewer overflows and sewage treatment works storage tanksSevern Trent sewage treatment works upgrades, combined sewer overflow upgrades and new treatment worksYorkshire Water new service reservoir and sewage treatment ..... full job details .....
