Job Title: Senior Quantity SurveyorSalary: 65,000 - 75,000Location: Surrey and the surrounding southern counties Job OverviewAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established construction contractor delivering high-end residential projects across Surrey and the surrounding counties.Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will take ownership of the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. The role would suit a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with strong contractual knowledge, excellent attention to detail and experience managing costs, procurement and financial risk. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the commercial aspects of projects from tender through to completion.Procure subcontract packages and manage supplier relationships.Prepare cost reports, forecasts and cash flow projections.Manage valuations, variations and final accounts.Identify, assess and manage commercial and contractual risks.Monitor project budgets and maintain financial control throughout delivery.Work closely with Project Managers and site teams to support successful project outcomes.Ensure commercial processes and contractual obligations are managed effectively.
