The Role Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes or CNC milling machines. Manufacturing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances. Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings. Carrying out first-off, in-process and final quality inspections. Making tooling and offset adjustments to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy. Working to high quality standards within a precision engineering environment. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a clean, safe working area. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a CNC Turner or CNC Miller within a precision engineering environment. Ability to programme, set and operate CNC machinery.
