What You''ll Be Doing Accounts Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients - limited companies, LLPs, sole traders, partnerships, and pension schemes Working from incomplete records or client trial balances (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.) Handling budgets and planning, liaising directly with clients to resolve queries Reviewing files with senior staff and finalising reporting packs Audit Leading internal and external audit assignments from planning through to completion Carrying out risk assessments, setting materiality levels and sampling On-site testing, including stock takes and verification work Performing analytical reviews and finalising audit files Tax Preparing VAT returns, personal tax returns, and corporation tax computations Assisting with P11Ds and occasional advisory work General Reviewing the work of juniors, resolving technical queries, and ensuring files are ready for manager review Providing on-the-job training and mentoring to semi-seniors and juniors Spotting c
