With an ambitious £2.3 billion capital investment in AMP8, we are revolutionising infrastructure, sustainability, and digital transformation to protect the environment and support growing communities.As Head of Commercial, you’ll be at the heart of driving the commercial success of a designated Business Unit looking after a portfolio of projects of between £600m - £750m over a five year period. Reporting to the Delivery or Commercial Director, you’ll manage all aspects of the commercial function, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while fostering collaboration, innovation, and value-driven outcomes.Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute commercial strategies that enhance performance and align with our outperformance targets.Performance Management: Oversee the commercial performance of the Business Unit, ensuring effective cost assurance, KPI reporting, and governance.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless integration across the supply chain.Procurement and Supply Chain Management: Drive procurement innovation and ensure supply chain performance aligns with programme goals.Team Leadership and Development: Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, care, and continuous improvement.Health, Safety and Wellbeing: Champion a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing across the team and supply chain.What We’re Looking For
