Data Centre Manager – Installation, Integration & Connectivity

BASED IN DUBAI

We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Manager to lead the successful delivery of installation, integration and connectivity projects across a diverse portfolio of customer and infrastructure environments.

This is a key leadership role with responsibility for day-to-day operational performance, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard, leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinate contractors and technical specialists, and work closely with customers and internal stakeholders.

You’ll take ownership of operational delivery across multiple projects and sites, with responsibilities including:

• Leading, coaching and developing operational teams to deliver against business objectives, KPIs and SLAs.
• Overseeing the planning and delivery of installation and integration projects from mobilisation through to successful completion.
• Coordinating technical teams, construction teams, contractors, suppliers and other delivery partners.
• Ensuring projects are appropriately resourced and sites are ready with the required people, materials and equipment.
• Managing operational budgets, resources and commercial performance.
• Applying practical knowledge of connectivity solutions, including network infrastructure, structured cabling, wireless technologies and communications systems.
• Working with engineers and technical specialists to resolve installation, integration and connectivity challenges.
• Identifying operational and project risks and ensuring effective mitigation plans are implemented.

You should bring:

• Strong experience delivering installation and integration projects.
• Practical knowledge of connectivity, network infrastructure, structured cabling, telecommunications or related technologies.
• A good understanding of construction environments, site operations and contractor management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple projects or locations.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, quality and compliance requirements.
• Excellent planning, organisational and resource-management capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make effective operational decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder and customer-management skills.
• Commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets and operational performance.
• A leadership style that promotes accountability, collaboration, safety and continuous improvement.

Desirable Qualifications

Qualifications or certifications such as the following would be advantageous:

IOSH or NEBOSH | SMSTS | PRINCE2 | APM/APMP | PMP | Lean / Six Sigma

A qualification or professional background in telecommunications, networking, engineering, construction or a related technical discipline would also be beneficial.
