Stores Operative and Buyer
Holt Engineering are looking for an experience Stores Operative and Buyer to join our client in Poole, this is a role that offers a lot of variety and the chance to really make an impact. The position is full time, working Monday to Friday and paying 28- 30,000 based on experience, the Stores Operative and Buyer will be involved in the efficient operation of the company''s inventory and purchasing processes. Key responsibilities for the successful Stores Operative and Buyer: Ensure stock levels are optimised, materials are procured cost-effectively, and all storage areas are well-organised to meet operational needsSource and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing and qualityProcess purchase ordersEnsure the stores area is organised and operating efficiently Develop and ensure procedures are being followed for inventory and storage Creating and maintaining accurate records for costing, trends and stock levels Requirements to be considered for the Stores Operative and BuyerPrevious buying experience is essential as as well as Stores Strong negotiation skills Experience working with Management or ERP systems Benefits for the successful Stores Operative and Buyer: Private medical and critical illness cover Free on site parking 25 days holiday + BHCompany pension If you are looking for your next new opportunity and have the required experience, please apply with your CV and Chelsea will call you.
